Completed in 2003 this series of 12 banners hang along Exeter Road in Exmouth. This project aimed to link Exeter Road more closely with principal central shopping streets, thereby encouraging shoppers and visitors along the street. it also aimed to create a distinctive and individual identity for the area. The proposal was to create fun, colourful banners depicting the town as seen by its youngest inhabitants. Images on the banners were drawn by local children from Beacon Primary School and featured specific buildings and landmarks from Exmouth, and often from Exeter Road itself. The banners were painted by children from Exeter Road primary School.
